Nicaraguan poet and essayist Rubén Darío is considered the high priest of the modernismo school of literature, known for its dazzling verbal virtuosity and technical perfection. This bi-lingual volume, Stories & Poems ≈ Cuentos y Poesías, contains a rich selection of Darío’s best poems and stories, written by one of the most important Latin-American writers of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

The group will meet Wednesday, May 13, 7-8:30 pm, 3rd Floor, Seminar Room, Main Library. Attendees have the option to read in English and/or Spanish. Discussions may also be in English and Spanish.
