Into the Beautiful North author, Luis Alberto Urrea, will present his lecture “Universal Border: From Tijuana to the World” at the ETHS Auditorium. Mr. Urrea will share his story of transformation from his beginnings on a dirt street in Tijuana to Pulitzer Prize finalist and beloved storyteller. The author will be available to sign copies of the book following the lecture. Admission is free. This lecture is part of the Big Read program.
Important note!: The Latin@ Literature Book group will not have a meeting on March 9. Instead, interested group members may choose to attend Mr. Urrea’s lecture. The L@L group read Into the Beautiful North in December of 2014.
